Arsenal and Cameroon defender Alexandre Song has been injured while featuring for his country in the first-half of the African Cup of Nations final against Egypt in Accra, Ghana on Sunday evening.The 20-year-old Arsenal defender received a knee injury after just fifteen minutes played in the first-half of the match, with Song being replaced by Gilles Binya in the match, which went into half-time level at 0-0.
There has been no confirmation as to the extent of his injury, but it is believed that he is likely to miss Arsenal's away trip to Birmingham next Saturday.
