It Was Only A Knock, Flamini Assures Arsenal

Mathieu Flamini has calmed the concerns over the injury he picked up while in action for France in midweek and insisted that he plans to be fit on time to lineup against Blackburn on Monday.

The Arsenal midfielder limped off after just quarter-of-an-hour during the France reserve side's match against Congo on Tuesday, prompting fears that he would be out for a crucial part of the Gunners' campaign.

"It is just a little tight spot behind the right thigh," Flamini said reassuringly. "It is nothing serious, I hope I'll be ready for Blackburn."
