The Screamer - It's the talk of football

Arsene Wenger believes Cesc Fabregas is a calmer player than when he confronted Blackburn manager Mark Hughes last season.
After a goalless FA Cup tie, Fabregas, 20, asked Hughes how someone who had played for Barcelona could demand such crude football from Rovers.

Now, with Hughes taking his team back to the Emirates Stadium on Monday night, the Arsenal boss says he has seen a change in his midfielder.

"There was maybe a stage for about six months where he went a bit the wrong way but he corrected that very well," he said.

Hughes said: "Arsenal have complained about the approach of opposition teams, but I have noted with interest that they have taken quite a lot of pride in saying they can compete.

"They are reaping the benefits of the change in their attitude. They now have a physical edge to the side and they are not the worse for it."
